Li’s main research area is complexity study and its application in different fields
Li is the executive member of the National Association of Financial Engineering, member of Financial Systems Engineering Branch of the Systems Engineering Society of China, executive member of Specialized Committee of Disciplinary Research Complexity Economics, member of Beijing Society for Urban Studies, and also member of Specialized Committee of Urban Infrastructure and Public Service Facilities of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology.

Postgraduate courses: Public Economics, Financial Engineering, Engineering Economics, Financial Risk Management, etc.
Li also supervises academic masters and doctoral student of systems science, as well as MPM and MPM.
