Research Interests:

Zeng’s research mainly focuses on empirical and applied studies in Complex Networks, Science of Science, Information Mining, and Urban Science. He has published 158 papers, 58 of which were published in the past five years, accumulating over 4,000 citations and achieving an H-index of 33. Six of these papers have each garnered over 100 citations, with the most-cited paper receiving 470 citations.

As the first author, Zeng has published in journals such as: Nature Human Behaviour (1 paper), Nature Communications (1 paper), Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (1 paper), and Physics Reports (1 paper). The paper published in Nature Human Behaviour in 2011 was featured as the journal’s cover and highlighted as a research spotlight in Nature. The paper published in PNAS in 2022 was also selected as the journal’s cover.
