Zhou Ya mainly studies behavioral game theory, project management, educational economy and management. Zhou is specialized in game theory, behavioral experiment, statistical survey, etc. He focuses on practical issues and conducts research in the allocation of educational resources in China, the compliance of individual income tax, group coordination and organizational performance, project performance evaluation, etc.
Zhou Ya is the assistant to the dean of School of Systems Sciences, Beijing Normal University, director of MPM Education Center, supervisor of postgraduate teaching in BNU, the assessment management expert of project performance Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance.

In 2008, Zhou got second prize in the First Excellent Teaching Achievement Competition in BNU with “Attaching Importance to Operational Ability in Statistic Teaching for Arts Students”, Ranked No. 1.
In 2012, Zhou got second prize in the Network Course Competition in BNU with “Market Research and Application of SPSS ”, ranked No.1.
