2015年9月28日-10月2日，2015年复杂系统年会（2015 Conference on Complex Systems ）在美国亚利桑那州凤凰城举行，来自世界各地的600余名学者参加了会议。该会议由Complex Systems Society主办，每年举行一次，是复杂系统相关领域的国际盛会。

2015年系统科学学院承办了复杂系统年会的卫星会议“Hot topics in the study of CS in Asia”， 该卫星会议同时由联合国教科文组织复杂系统数字校园项目做全球在线直播（Complex Systems Digital Campus, a UNESCO UniTwin, World e-Conference）。我院韩战钢教授担任会议组织者，狄增如教授、樊瑛教授、陈清华副教授、李小萌老师，博士生牛琪锴和硕士生周建林参加了该卫星会议并分别作了报告。此外，陈清华和李小萌两位老师还应邀做大会发言和Poster展示。
