I was hoping that you may have or know a soon-to-finish student, postdoc or ECR in your group who might be suitable, or could otherwise help to spread the word?
1.
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Complex Systems (Level B/C).
Research areas including information theory and complex networks theory. Sits in our Complex Systems Research Group, led by Prof. Mikhail Prokopenko.
This is for a 3 yr term position. The levels (B/C) are roughly equivalent to Assistant/Associate Prof in the US, respectively.

2.
Postdoctoral research associate in Complex Systems (Level A). Sits in our Complex Systems Research Group, led by Prof. Mikhail Prokopenko.
This is for a 3 year term position, working on a funded project on large-scale computational modelling of epidemics, using complex networks and agent-based simulation, and associated analysis (including information-theoretic). The postdoc will work closely with Mikhail and I, among others.

3. We also have a number of
PhD scholarships
associated with the aforementioned funded projects, which are not yet advertised. (The PhD projects are in: information processing in networks, network inference from time-series, computational modelling of epidemics, etc.). I'm conscious of not trying to poach your promising PhD candidates, but if you happen to have more potential candidates than funding, please feel free to point them to me for more details on these projects and how to apply!
The closing date for positions 1 and 2 is 24 January 2016.
